"Nancy Ann Jessee b. 1808, Russell Co.,VA (daughter of Fleming Burke, Sr. and Catherine "Katie"J. Banner) m. about 1824, in Russell Co., VA, Fleming Burke, Jr., b. 1802, Russell Co., VA (son of Fleming Burke, Sr. and Rebecca Bush) d. after 1870 , Russell Co.,VA. Nancy died Sept. 16, 1887. She died of fever. Fleming: They owned land in the Cedar Creek, Reeds Valley, Copper Creek, and Grassy Creek sections of Russell Co., VA. They were listed in the Moll Creek Church register and in the 1850 and 1860 Russell Co, Census."
